Today was the Annual Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts. What a crazy busy morning. Lots of little boys, all the excitement and anticipation, and bunches of fun! There were lots of fast cars in this year's race. The boys had a great time watching their cars 'fly' down the track waiting to see who would come out victorious. All the boys did a great job on their designs. Their hard work and dedication were obvious looking at all the cool cars on the racks waiting for their turns at the track. 
Nathan's car placed second this year. I think there was a moment of disappointment, but overall he was a good sport about it. Of course it is difficult to be the Grand Champion from last years race and have to face coming down.
I really want to do something like this will all of our kiddos. I don't know anything about building cars, but I can figure anything out! Good job Nathan. Second place is nothing to scoff at!
